About PJ Dance Academy

PJ Dance Academy was founded in 2018 with a starting group of 20 kids. The academy was started with a vision to inspire all dancers to strive for excellence & to enjoy the journey along the way! Today, PJ Dance Academy’s vision continues to grow, as we provide quality dance experience in a family-family atmosphere and promote self-confidence, self respect, discipline and appreciation through dance. Through our classes, we hope that each dancer finds their “passion pulse.”

Since 2018, PJ Dance Academy has grown in size and reputation. Our dancers have performed for various shows in Peoria, as well as other areas. Among the various dance schools in the area, PJ Dance Academy is always a first choice, due to our highly dedicated instructors. Our instructors have a passion for dance that drives them to excel and elevate the level of our dances, show after show!

We strive to showcase various forms of dance with each performance. At PJ Dance Academy, students learn Bollywood – modern and fusion, Contemporary and traditional South Indian folk styles. Along with the dance forms, PJ Dance Academy also emphasizes the importance of yoga and stretches before and after class. The dance classes take place in the academy’s studio, with high quality sound/floor systems, large wall mirrors and a space large enough to provide instruction to a maximum of 20 dancers. The facility also has a guest seating area, restrooms and plenty of parking space.
